Literature

If you love to read but, like a lot of people, find yourself with too little time to sit down and lose yourself in a good book you may have already discovered audio books. This site provides over 600 free audio books to download into an MP3 format. There are topics for every taste from classics and comedy to horror/thriller, spy stories and westerns.

Job Search
This is by far the most comprehensive and complete free job search website available. After two months of job hunting, I posted my resume here and had prospective job results within twelve hours. Monster.com takes you step by step through the construction of a professional resume with tips, guidelines and an international job search database.
Astronomy

We are including this site as it concerns a timely issue. On February 1st, two comet watchers found a new comet which is expected to reach peak brightness around March 8th and remain visible to the naked eye until April. This site provides full information as well as a glossary of related terms for astronomy buffs and amateur star gazers..

History
If you know a student who has difficulty with history or if you like history yourself be sure to visit this site. History.about.com is an amazing source of historical information. In addition to providing such categories as women's history, ancient history and military history it also provides entertainment in the form of daily features and polls.
Educational
This is an excellent reference guide for students. Colorful graphics and plenty of available help make this site easily navigable. There are a variety of activities to aid in grammar and creativity. Build your own dictionary, write a poem with the rhyming dictionary or do an English experiment in the Science Lab. There is also a section for teachers.
Llamas
Find out what happens when two city kids grow up and make their dream of country life come true by starting a llama ranch. Mike and Mary Knitter raise and breed llamas for enjoyment and for the animals' gorgeous wool, called fiber. As you read through this fun and highly informative site, you will learn of the many endearing qualities of the llamas.
Sports

If you are a hockey fan then this site should interest you. Windsor, Nova Scotia has been hailed as the birthplace of Canadian hockey, beginning in the early 1800's as a school activity. King's-Edgehill School has supporting documents that Long Pond, located behind the school, was a favorite site for skating and ice games.
