Thank you to all the people that wrote and commented on how much you like our e-zine. One person commented that out of the 80 email lists he is subscribed to he thinks ours is the best. That one certainly helped us along and further convinced us to keep doing our best in bringing you this e-zine. We currently have 217 subscribers. |
General Interest
With Australia day coming up soon we thought it would be of interest to have a site featuring a fair range of information about Australia. Here you will find webcams from around the country as well as information on past "Australian of the year". |
Toast
As the name implies this site is all about toast. At first we thought this might just be a humor site but it does have some useful information. There are recipes for some tasty toasty snacks as well as a section of Toast Haiku. |
Weird and Crazy
Okay we all know that criminals are dumb but some of these people should definitely have stayed at home. Take, for instance, the guy that handed over his drivers license while robbing a convenience store. Or the several aerospace employees who robbed a bank still wearing their work uniforms complete with name tags. |
Educational
Do you need some information about the past? Perhaps you're just curious about what happened back then? This is a comprehensive site put together by a team dedicated to making sure the information is accurate and informative. |
Humor
This is a well constructed site done by a 40ish male, enjoying life as a single, non-attached, married-once-but-learned-my-lesson, funny and entertaining Canadian guy (his words). We spent too long looking at this site for the e-zine, we just had to keep looking to see what we could find next. |
Music
We found this site while searching for a song one day. If you have a problem remembering the name of a song until you see it, then this site may be for you. There are quite a few oldies from the 60's and 70's. Perhaps that song you have forgotten the name of is here. |
Radio
Paul's Radio Museum gives a brief history of the radio from 1922 till 1991. There are a number of actual broadcast recordings you can listen to. Listen to one and find out how radio used to sound nearly 100 years ago. |
Dumb site winner
We were having fun typing all kinds of names to see if we could find anything for the e-zine when we happened across this site. All I want to know is why did the person bother? |
