At this time, we here at YNL would like to offer our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the recent terrorist attacks on New York City, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the survivors and to all around the world. Literature |
| Virginia Cary Hudson was ten years old when she wrote these essays in 1904. When these essays were discovered years later, they were bound together in a collection titled "O Ye Jigs & Juleps" published in 1962. They are an innocently humorous and very straightforward account of life in early America and a highly enjoyable read. |
