Welcome to "YourNextLink" a weekly E-Zine of weblinks, tips and other strange blurbs from Apollo and Mynx.

We have had questions about why the link addresses have a redirection in them. The redirection is for our link counter. It is a way for us to track which sites our subscribers go to the most so we can refine the links we put out each week and choose ones that are more popular. As you can imagine it is hard to find sites that will appeal to everyone and we have been a little surprised already with some of the responses to our links.

We currently have 213 subscribers.

Language

For anyone who loves the English language, this is an interesting site well worth a visit. You will be able to find examples of anagrams, spoonerisms and cockney slang just to name a few. There is even a section on Internet lingo.

Graphics
It takes a couple minutes for the graphics to load, but it is well worth it. Everything from dragonflies and unicorns to slime and blood, this site has backgrounds and buttons galore, all free for the downloading. Be sure to check out the newest section of calling cards.
Virus Info

The latest nasty computer virus floating around is called SirCam. This link will take you to a page which explains more about the virus and gives an explanation on how to remove it if you are unlucky enough to get this virus.

General Information
The Salt Manufacturers' Association has compiled this website on the history and uses of this vital element. Find out how salt affects our lives and our health and a few surprises that you may not have known.
Whales
Do you have kids who would like to know more about the whales and sea mammals? Like to know more yourself? Visit this site and learn about the humpbacks, orcas, dolphins and more that migrate through Hervey Bay Australia and listen to recordings of whalesong.
Australian Railway
The Australian railway is a vast and historically significant system of transportation. See complete maps of all systems, all stations servicing the routes and histories of the surrounding areas. If you ever find yourself in the area, find ticket and fare info here too.
Humor

If, like a lot of us, you sit at a computer all day every day, whether at work or home you know how frustrating they can be at times. Find your relief here at The Illustrated Guide To Breaking Your Computer. This is meant to be a humorous site, but speaking for myself there are days when it is more of a pleasant thought than a funny one.

Ghosts

Learn the tragic story of a linen worker named Helena Blunden. Killed in a fall in a Belfast linen mill in 1912, her ghost is said to still haunt the factory. See a layout map of the mill, marking sightings of her ghost. Hear a remarkable, nearly century old recording of Helena's acclaimed singing voice and read archive newspaper reviews of her talent.
